Hi guys! I know, I know. It’s been awhile since you’ve heard from me! How is it even possible that it’s October already? Truth is, the last few months have been a whirlwind – from family vacations, to family weddings, to a major job transition. With so much going on in my personal life, I felt that it was important for me to just focus on that for awhile. After all, family is always my number one. But don’t worry, I am still here and I’ve got a few exciting things coming your way very soon. The first of which I’ll be sharing today.
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working on sprucing things up around the house for fall. My go-to decor trick is to add some fresh greenery – you can read my post on that HERE. I’ve long been a fan of fresh florals over faux – however, my opinion on that has drastically changed. With how often we travel, it’s become quite difficult to keep up with our poor houseplants – don’t worry, Freddie our Fiddle is doing just fine, you can read my post on him HERE. Not only that, but with the days growing shorter – our home just doesn’t get the best natural light, so I’ve found that our bouquets and fresh greens aren’t lasting as long as they do during the late spring and summer months.
Fall Florals
That’s where the faux florals come in! I know, I can’t believe it either – seriously, are you faux real? Yes! I admit it – I am officially a believer in faux florals! However, the catch is finding quality. That’s where my friends at Bloomr come in. They are purveyors of the finest faux florals I’ve seen – ranging from faux stems, and arrangements, to faux succulents, orchids and even faux fiddle leaf fig trees. While the floral arrangements are on the pricey side, I found the individual stems to be at a much more reasonable price point – and the quality is unparalleled. Bloomr says it best, “a space with out flowers or plants is an empty space.”
With fall on my mind, I knew I wanted to add some greenery, you can shop the eucalyptus and the fir stems I used HERE and HERE. But I also wanted to add a pop of yellow to our fall decor. You can find the yellow forsythia HERE.
You can be the judge, but I am so incredibly happy with our new faux florals. They add the perfect touches of fall to our home. Just pair them with a few ghost pumpkins and you are good to go.
But you guys, I’m not done yet. Not only did I find a great selection of florals, they also offer a beautiful selection of pots and vases. So for all my green thumbs and plant whisperers – they’ve got something for you too. You can find the pots I used HERE and HERE, also at great price points!
I’m so excited to let you know that our friends at Bloomr are offering 30% off at www.bloomr.com with code CLASSICALLYDUNN for all of my readers! Be sure to check out their faux stems and pots – I know I’ll be heading back this spring for some faux peonies. They’re my favorite spring floral – and of course I want them to last forever!
In the meantime, I’d love to hear what you’re doing to decorate for fall, so please comment below and let me know what you’re up to! I’d also love to hear what you find from our friends at Bloomr!
Xo,
