Hi friends! Long time, no chat. I know I’m stating the obvious when I say this, but, I’ve all but disappeared from my little corner of the internet and IG over the last few months. Today, I am sharing the latest from the Classically Dunn home and I can promise you, my absence was with good reason…

We are having another baby! A baby GIRL will be joining our family toward the end of the summer and we are absolutely thrilled! Henry turned two a few weeks ago, so at this point he really couldn’t care less. I do think he is starting to catch on to the idea that there is a major change coming to our little family.

This pregnancy has been so much tougher than the first, especially during those early weeks. I didn’t have the energy or the mental capacity to create content, not to mention even looking at a phone or a computer screen made me incredibly nauseous.
Thankfully, that stage has passed. Hallelujah!! My energy, and my appetite (ha!), have returned with a vengeance and I am excited to get back to sharing our home with you. We have several fun projects to share in the coming months as we prepare for the arrival of our baby girl.
Here’s a look at what is coming soon to Classically Dunn:
- Our long overdue bathroom reveal (here is a sneak peek)

- Big Kid Room for Henry – we decided to move him into our former guest room. Excited to share my design process with you. I know I’ll need some of your input to bring the room together!
- Baby Girl Nursery – we are keeping the foundation and furniture the same for the nursery, but updating the decor and accessories to give it a more feminine feel. You can read the post about our neutral baby boy nursery HERE. And here is a look at the mood board when I designed Henry’s nursery:

- A New Deck – hopefully just in time for the summer! We haven’t been able to use our deck for well over a year now because of rotting wood. We are in the permitting process right now and will have more to come on this soon!
Thank you for being here! Exited to catch up with you soon!
Xo,

Congratulations Katie!! So happy for you! Glad to hear you are feeling better 🙂
